The boys in the car..stop kat R&R for breakfast.
So since we reached Taiping tol at about 930am so we thought is still early to continue our journey straight to Alor Setar..so we made a de-tour to Taiping instead.
With no specific plan in hand we just drove into the taiping town. We wanted to find a place to re-fresh and for the kids to strectch and makan, pusing pusing town cari place to chill..tak jumpa. To my surprise..besar jugak town taiping.
We just drove towards the Zoo and Mount Maxwell..this is also where the Taiping Garden is..memang cantik jalan kat sini with all the old tress..memang very tranquil and sejuk..sebab dia kat dengan area bukit. Then we saw this one signage to Kamalodge..so we thought we check it out.
When we 1st drove in the lodge we saw a swimming pool which is perfect for the kids. I terus suka the place. The swimming pool score 5 star from me already. When we went into the lobby..we like the whole place even more. Its just a small lobby..but feels like home. we like it..so we took half day rate..they charge us RM100 ok what kan? with a comfortable place to rest before we head north to alor star. Such an ease..

Even the room pun just nice..tak kisah sgt the 2 twin beds coz we just going to be here till evening. Clean and yang best banyak natural light and green.
Here's some pics of the boys enjoying their time in the swimming pool. Tapi 1 thing..this swimming pool tak suitable for baby 1 yr below sebab dia takde baby pool yang shallow tu. Even this pool pun takat pinggang Alief yang 3 tahun tu..and ada some part of this pool air dia takat chest alief..so memang parents kena turun sekali to monitor tak boleh let the kids by themselves. My little dani memang kalau let him stand in the water tu air dia takat dada so memang tak safe..especially the boys ni excited sgt dalam pool..sudah nya kena la pegang all the time. Maybe its a good idea for the management have to have the shallow baby pool for small babies..
But all in all..it was a good half day stay..time we all kat sini pun tak ramai guest so lagi syok. We haven't had the chance to try their restaurant sebab masa ni puasa lagi. But i personally think this is a good place to singgah next time you in Taiping. And this place is great for a short family weekend gateaway..tak jauh from KL..approx 2.5 hours gitu..and you can bring the kids to the nearby zoo..the park.
This also a good place for small friends and family gathering.
even can check out their night zoo. We will definitely plan to come back for a short trip..
For those who wish to check out this place.. take exit Taiping selatan and drive into town Taiping..you will come to a traffic light junction betul betul depan the white prison..( on your right)..this is a landmark you cant miss..
Just head straight to zoo taiping and tak lama after this traffic light junction about less than 1km you can see the sign Kama lodge already! very easy and very near... I lost the brochure..so i cant recall the address and contact no. So good luck!!

ohhh...mula said pool 5 star ! then pool dalam pulak, so kena masuk...all this masa nak balik Raya ? bulan posa ? ;p
anyway, yes, the room looked presentable. I think I should check it out, in case we would like to have it in our system too....

used to have a kampung in taiping. waaayy back. at that time, taiping was just a little town. night safari was not even introduced. and i used to picnic with my cousins at bukit merah when it was not even a swimming pool.
sigh.
